CH Ashra F Van Doubledutch "Sophie" Aug 1991 - Nov 2004
Sophie was my first Bouvier. She was a strong willed girl who was very independent and let you know how she felt about things. For example if I arived home late she would not "speak" to me, or if I got the grooming table out she would run away! I learnt alot about showing and grooming with Sophie - I was the only person showing Bouviers in the South Island so grooming was very much from pictures and reading. Sorry Sophie for taking you to our first Nationals looking like a Schnauzer! Despite this Sophie did well in the showring, taking BOB twice at the Nationals. As a baby Sophie was "purple ribbon", on the day the vet came out to put Sophie to sleep I was walking the others when the most brillant rainbow came out - the brightest colour in the whole rainbow was purple, and I am certain it was a goodbye from Sophie before she crossed the rainbow bridge.

NZCH Estrik Nico (Imp Aust) "Tyler"
Tyler was not shown after 13 months, he is was a lovely compact short boy, with a very coarse coat and still loved his teddy bears and squeaky toys.

Ch Demi B V Doubledutch "Dixie" March 1994 - Feb 2004
Dixie went very suddenly at home. She was always a happy obliging girl, and very attached to beds or sofas!
Pollyanna "Polly" March 1988 - March 2001
Not a Bouvier I know, but my best wee friend in the whole world and someone I still miss hugely Polly was the boss of everyone despite being half the size of everyone!
